boating


i know i don't usually write about posts but today i make an exception.
this is the rowboat i bought and just picked up from shady side maryland. a 17 hour day in total which is kind of epic, but here she is. a brand new (unfinished) whitehall hull! so beautifully made and all safe and sound at darren's shop. next comes a ton of work to get it ready for installation.

    Congrats! I'm so glad you found THE boat! And working in Darrens shop should be great!!! WOuld you pinch him in the ass for me please? ROCK ON Gregor!!

    i don't think i know darren well enough to pinch his ass. but his shop is unbelievable! and he is a terrific warm generous fellow. gonna go on wednesday to have a better look at the boat with pablo if anyone is interested!?

    the plan from here is to do it awesome. pablo has that look in his eye.
